heading back to the house after a day out on the bikes

great weather, windy but sunny & just hot enough

quiet biking thru the campground cottages

Beach Road

in the pond, kayak & paddle board rentals: Island Spirit Kayak, State Beach, Oak Bluffs 508-693-9727 you can book on-line

Jaws Bridge jumper. screen grab from a Polaroid xs100 video

went back a cpl more times. screen grab from a GoPro video

on the other side, ppl were trying their luck to catch some Striped Bass that were schooling under the bridge

liquid refreshments plus charcuterie board at Bad Martha's brewery

approaching Edgartown. the bike path situation is good in places, & not so good in other places

generous bike parking

Manuel F. Correllus State Forest. on a hybrid, w/ 45mm tires, explored the NorthEast corner w/ about a 3-5 mile loop on mixed trails, on top of the 10 miles, round trip, getting there & back. used County Rd, Edgartown-Vineyard Haven Rd & Beth Way

Beth Way to Fire Rd A

got this little map when I stumbled upon the headquarters

got a road map of the whole island at the hardware store. it's adequate even tho it lacks the details I was looking for

Dr. Fisher Rd

forgot my compass in the car, at the house & didn't have much in the way of maps (until after my ride), so I kinda winged-it at intersections

Fire Road A

shud probably take the MV stuff to a separate MV thread

good map of the forest here
