Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

The way I read it, the ones costing $1.6M were from a run of 7 cars built to replicate a track racing model. The Jaguar website says they haven't started the E-type yet but information is sketchy.

I completed this build yesterday. It's mostly parts I already had from when I upgraded my Intense Primer to Deore XT.

.
under 21lbs with a dropper post and boat anchors for wheels.

That's one of my favorites on the trainer, too.

Today was Metallica, though. I was feeling pretty okay through the warm-up, when my Gamin piped up and said that my Performance Condition was at -9 That got a bark of a laugh out of me and made it all the more fun to show that cycling computer who's boss.

do some pushups, squats, chair dips (if your room has good chairs for them), bicycle crunches, etc.

I was lucky enough to avoid the trainer today. Lately I’m on a strange metal kick. Yesterday was these guys. Forgot how great this album is

A C8 is almost as cool as a Neil Pryde bicycle cycle. Nothing wrong with stomping on the loud pedal, and going for a ride.

Gave it a brief listen - nice. Problem, though: too many tempo changes. I could not do less than 350w for the first two-and-a-half minutes, could not do more than 160w for in the middle, and then back of up to manic for a spell before collapse at the end. Would need to tailor a couple intervals to precisely sync with it.

Ya know, Ford used to own Jaguar, and Ford used to rebadge Mazda trucks. Seems like a deal could be struck to bolt those bodies to some MX-5 chassis, for an everyman's c-type.

Not quite, but same (more or less) period nonetheless.

Hang in there. I've gone through similar stuff. Heart surgery, afib, ablations, blood thinner, pacemaker, lung diseases. I've got a garage full of racing bikes. I'm a lot slower, but it's still fun to ride.
