Here is a recent review of performance models and shows where W' comes from and its relation to critical power, which is closely related to FTP. It's a bit mathematical, but I hope to work through it when I have time.

Out in New Glarus towards Yellowstone.
I was thinking about doing it tomorrow but I think I'll need to adjust my gearing beforehand. 39/28 isn't going to cut it for that one I don't think.
This morning I got a 50/34 crank back from my buddy who I'd lent it to but never did anything with it. I'm planning on installing it tonight, but the little voice in my head that I believe to be reason is telling me to get some local miles on it before I head way out of town.

Thanks for the route link - now saved for future.

First time I went to the Brewery, it was located in town, basically in a tin sided building. When I asked to take a tour, they said sure just walk around in there if you feel like it, no one was working in the back as it was weekend. Now, its relocated, outside of town, up on top of hill, done all out, much worth a visit - would also be a good climb/ride on a bike if not for the traffic. Again outside seating etc... No great deals, but worth at least on trip.

Apologies...cant get the multiquote to work....I mostly agree re spotted cow. I haven't purchased it in quite a while, I do like that it is unfiltered, but otherwise its fairly bland. Moonman is farily good, it has some hoppyness, but not overdone like most of the IPA craze.

Sure, in the same sense that real FTP varies, but we treat it as a static quantity against which to measure effort.

Interesting. I'm also playing around with W' at intervals.icu. These models then suggest that W' should never be a negative number?

I've learned that I speak like someone in Phoenix. Odd, since I've never been there.

Nice pic from the local figher wing today!
Flying inverted, snapping pics of three F-35s flying over the Grand Canyon.
