Anyone ever used a Tuesday Volcom bike?

I went to the bike store and told them I haven't owned a bike for thirty years and I just want something inexpensive I can use to accompany my kids now that they're starting to ride on local streets and bike trails. They showed me this Tuesday Volcom single speed bike that one brakes by pedaling backwards. Three hundred bucks. I can't find a single thing about it online except for the company site. Should I go for it?

It looks like a cheap beach cruiser with another companies name on it. Me I would pass but I don't live at the beach or care about Volcom. I have hills and hills are miserable on a heavy clunky cruiser and worse with coaster brakes. There is reason why Repack is called Repack because you would cook the grease out of your hub descending with just a coaster brake. Single speeds and fixed gears are a lot of fun and certainly hit the lower price points better but I would generally pass on a cruiser unless at the beach.

OK, looks like mixed reviews. Maybe I'll check out one more bike store, thanks.
