Monday - 20.8 miles 15.4 avg 31.1 max
Wednesday - 17.2 miles 16.7 avg max 32.4
Today - 17.2 miles 16.7 avg max 31.1
I doubt I'll ride this weekend with all the rain were going to get.

Ten miles, 6 miles of it with my teen age son. Hot and muggy. It was like riding in a hot shower. May try to get 25 in tomorrow but forecast is more of the same.

I went out on a 24-mile route but had to cut it to 16.
I never used to have a problem with heat. This was my first ride since heart surgery in extreme heat. I tried to sprint to beat a traffic light ... and ruined myself. I didn't recover for the rest of the ride, probably ten miles. My legs were fine but I was nauseous, weak, and felt my heart rate was uncertain. it didn't suck as bad as some thing ... but it wasn't fun.
I got my revenge though ... I went out after dark and did another 20 miles.

I think you're right, I just turned 50, and if I'm not careful riding in the sweltering summer heat down here, I will be done in less than 20 miles. My issue yesterday (6/24) was I'm on a much lighter bike now, so I was keeping up with some of the road guys, which in hindsight was a mistake. After a 10 mile "sprint" I was feeling a bit of fatigue, which I've never had before, so from now on, I'm sticking to my average speed, until the heat breaks in October.

50.8 miles, starting around 5:30 AM because I'm a wimp in the summer heat.

Only 8.5 today on the old Allez. It's 106° here today. Better than yesterday's 111°. Not a good ride day. Heading for a 45 mile coast ride tomorrow to Carpenteria, CA.

It has been a long time since I did a metric century; so I took advantage of a cool front and went 64 miles today. It felt so much easier than the first one I ever did back in Nov. '16, and that one was a supported charity ride.
