My other addiction caused me to read "Barn find Shotgun"! But no disappointments here. This is right up there with an old Browning Auto 5.

Deore DX for the win. I currently have my 1971 Stella setup with same if she makes the cut for this year's Cino ride. Looks like EvapoRust is your friend to bring back the frame. Look forward to more pics of the resurrection and 1st ride. Don

yep thats the plan. Just get it riding for now with stuff i have lying around, but sus the paint properly and throw some money at parts if i like riding it.

First time setting up centerpulls. One pad being infront of the other is very strange.
I used some hardware from a shimano CX-70 brake to space the new pads closer to the rim. The original pads were worn on an angle but now they contact parallel.
It's working quite well.

I want to make a little angled doodad to put in the stem so a barrell adjuster nut can sit flush. It kinda needs a barrel adjuster because the travel of the lever is so small.

The brake arms also flex a lot.
