I recently bought a Motobecane Grand Jubilé and a few boxes of French parts from KC Craigslist, mostly to flip. There was a slight chance I'd keep the bike, but in reviewing its shortcomings I decided to unload everything (might take awhile). Most of the parts that came on or near the bike are available in another listing. This listing is just for the frame and a couple parts I didn't (or couldn't) remove from the frame.

The seat tube measures 61.5cm ctc, 62.5cm ctt. The top tube is 59cm ctc. The rear spacing is 120mm. It has Campagnolo dropouts and bears serial number 70816 (or 708161, or 7081611, hard to tell precisely) on the inside of the drive side dropout. The frame appears straight by the string test. It's been repainted (somewhat badly, I think) probably awhile ago, as a bunch of spots have been touched up. It has no decals. There is pretty clear evidence that the chainstays were squished a bit by a kickstand at one point. The chainstays themselves are a little bit flatter (don't really show in the pics). The chainstay bridge bore the brunt of the insult.

Included with the frame are the following:

• Huret Challenger front derailleur
• Stronglight Competition headset and front brake cable stop
• Derailleur cable chain stay stop
• Seat post bolt (incorrect perhaps, but it's what came with the bike)
• Huret clamp-on shifters (Allvit, perhaps?
• Dropout screws

As it sits, I'd like $100 shipped to CONUS. I've included a few pictures here, but there is a Flickr album with more.

As they say over on ******, "Wow! Such empty!" How about a price drop to $100 and I'll make you a deal on stuff from my other FS thread which includes some bits from this bike? I also have some 27-inch wheels which could be part of the mix (Suzue hub front, Normandy rear, Super Gentleman rims front and back) which I can toss in.

That's one :dope slap: for me on the shifters. Right you are.

I believe the fork is original. It just wasn't repainted when the frame was redone. It should have been painted with chrome socks. You can tell up close the chrome on the upper part of the blades isn't finished for shininess. Compare the fork on my previous Grand Jubilé with this one, same style fork crown and fork ends, as well as similar treatment at the end of the blades:



Both also have similar numbers one the outside of the right side fork end, 373CI on the earlier instance, 358CI on this one.
