Looking for a 1st generation SunTour Superbe front hub in 24 or 28 hole drilling. I’m taking about the series with the gold decal that says SUPERBE. If it had the correct skewer that would be icing on the cake.

I volunteer as a mechanic at a charity shop where we solicit bike and component donations. Sometimes, we get donations that don't fit with the clientele we serve: mostly homeless, unemployed, recently released from jail, etc. people who just need a bike for transportation. One day, I came in and found this PowerTap rear wheel with a 10-speed Campagnolo cassette in the donation bin. It's round and true, and the bearings are smooth, but I have no way of assessing the electronics in the hub. I'd be willing to trade it for consumable items we do use, such as tires, chains, brake and derailleur cables, etc.

Since orphan wheel sets are allowed, I think I have the ultimate weirdo pair.
Not exactly vintage to folks like us, but certainly are to the crowd who ride stuff like this.
HED "Jet" 650 C deep V rims (clincher) with CF combined with Aluminum braking surfaces. needs a very long stem tube.
They have 24 bladed spokes with sealed bearing Rear hub, 18 bladed spokes in Front hub.
NOTE: the rear hub has conventional spoke orientation on the DS of that hub with J-bend heads on the hub flange and nipples (inside) the rim, but the NDS, and both sides of front hub, have heads of the spokes inside the rim but nipples in the hub body!
NOTE 2: front hub has a cracked shell so should be replaced! see pic.
These have decent Conti Grand Prix 3000 tires (650C x 23) that still have some life left, tubes that take air (but waiting to see if they hold air over time).
I plan to keep the skewers, the clean 8-spd Shimano cassette is included.
Make me an offer. I can ship with BikeFlights or what other service you prefer. Happy for a local PU in the SF Bay Area, too.

They are both rears (one low flange, one high flange) and both are 36 hole.

I have one Araya 32-hole "Super Hard Anodized" tubular rim (also labeled PRO STAFF 340, whatever that means) that I remember nothing about. It appears to have had a tire glued on at one time, but there's no evidence that it was ever ridden. The braking tracks are pristine. There's a bit of tape residue where you'd have taped the rim to another to do a rim swap.

Thanks to BFer seagrade in New Zealand, I now have complete set of vintage Roval spokes (see post number 2 in this thread) and can repair my rear wheel! Classic and Vintage is the best!

Mavic Ksyrium Equipe 20 spoke front, smooth and true. The bad, some arse drilled it for schrader.
It's got a couple of smurfs on the brake track as well. Not looking for a match, but it's a wheel or parts for someone who needs it.
Is very similar to the Mavic wheel above, blade spoke and all.

Looking for a Specialized GX23 front wheel. Would prefer Deore XT hub in a perfect world, but any Silver Shimano hub would do. Not looking for perfection, mine's faded with some brake track wear. No big gouges please. Got lots to trade.

This new Superbe Pro 28 hole rear hub that has been altered for bladed spokes, along with a 28 hole Mavic tubular rim is up for grabs. No spokes as it came with a wrong length set of spokes that were discarded months ago. Smiles, MH

I have three orphaned items and a possible fourth for those who demand matching rims:
Item 1: 36h 559mm (26") Sun CR18 Rim - new and never laced
Item 2: 36h 622mm (700C) Mavic MA Rim
Item 3: Rear Wheel having 36h 622mm (700C) Mavic CXP-10 Rim laced to Shimano RSX FH-A410 with 7-speed freehub & 126mm O.L.D.
Item 4*: Front wheel having 36h 622mm (700C) Mavic MA Rim laced to Shimano RSX HB-A410
(Item 4 is still in use and thus is not a true orphan. However, I can be persuaded to part with it for those who might want matching rims on both the front and rear wheel. The loose Mavic MA rim is a pull-off from yet another rear wheel also having a Shimano RSX FH-A410 but that's another story.)
I guess that shipping each would be more than these are worth. I'm in the New York City area and can meet up there or nearby. A 36h dynamo hub is the only thing I can think that I would like off the top of my head.

NOTE: the rear hub has conventional spoke orientation on the DS of that hub with J-bend heads on the hub flange and nipples (inside) the rim, but the NDS, and both sides of front hub, have heads of the spokes inside the rim but nipples in the hub body!
NOTE 2: front hub has a cracked shell so should be replaced! see pic.
These have decent Conti Grand Prix 3000 tires (650C x 23) that still have some life left, tubes that take air (but waiting to see if they hold air over time).
I plan to keep the skewers, the clean 8-spd Shimano cassette is included.
Make me an offer. I can ship with BikeFlights or what other service you prefer. Happy for a local PU in the SF Bay Area, too.

Free 700C Front Wheel and Tire- Atlanta ITP
It's not vintage but it's a good wheel. Tire is a 700x 32C Continental Touring Plus. Please advise if there is a better forum on which to offer this. I have this listed on cl but I will gift it to any Bike Forums member who wants it for their own use. Please dm to arrange pickup.

Aero wheel for trade
Hi folks,
I have an “Aero” Shimano Ultegra front wheel that was part of my compensation for servicing and repairing a neighbor’s bike. It has 16 straight pull spokes in a radial pattern. The rim is labeled “Shimano Ultegra”. There is also a small label saying “Shimano Wheel Technology, 15 X 622”. The bearings are smooth and it looks true, but I haven’t checked it on the truing stand. It weighs ~800 grams with skewer & rim strip. See pix for visual details.
Apparently this was an attempt by a previous owner to upgrade this bike, because it didn’t match the 105 wheel on the rear or the other 105 components. My neighbor at 200# was concerned about the durability of this wheel.
I’m in Salem, OR and would prefer to swap for a 32 or 36 spoke wheel with a boxed silver rim and Ultegra or tri-color hub. If someone would like it shipped, please PM me to discuss.
If you would like additional info or pictures, please provide me with your email.
