1949 Raleigh Three speed
Can anyone direct me to a reliable parts source for vintage Raleigh's?
I acquired the bike recently and have disassembled it. In doing so I have found a number of issues I would like to address. It is important to me that this is a restoration but I would like to keep as much to original as possible.
With that in mind I look forward to any resources available to that end. Thanks !

Other than tires, most of the stuff on a bike that old, you don't eliminate potential sources because they might be unreliable. If you want vintage parts that haven't been made for many years, you get them where ever you can find them. If they turn out to be un-reliable for getting you one part, then you'd still probably go back to the for another part in they are the only one that has it.
I'm sure you know about ebay. Anything else will be your scrounging and friends you make going around to bike clubs and LBS's to BS with them and find those people that have shelves of hoarded parts they'll never do anything with.

Hard to believe in 2021 but true none-the-less: the Sturmey-Archer AW hub and shifter is still supported by the factory.

Mostly there...
Thanks for the replies. The bike is mostly there. Amazing that it's intact after seventy years.
The bike is missing the rear fender including the original flat steel strut. It has mismatched pedals. Both pedals are Raleigh pedals but years apart in manufacture. The rubber blocks are worn smooth from years of use.
I could use maintenance items, brake and original style gear cables, brake blocks.
The front Dyno hub still puts out a steady six volts but the lighting has taken a beating.
This isn't my first bike. But it's the oldest by a few years.
Thanks again for your suggestions.

Ebay & Ebay UK
Ladies models are usually cheaper as a source of parts as well.
