Cyclocross and Gravelbiking (Recreational) This has to be the most physically intense sport ever invented. It's high speed bicycle racing on a short off road course or riding the off pavement rides on gravel like : "Unbound Gravel". We also have a dedicated Racing forum for the Cyclocross Hard Core Racers.

Niner RLT Steel owners, I'm in between sizes and not sure what to do

I'm hoping to get an RLT steel next year, but because I can't actually test ride one because they're so scarce at the moment, I'm trying to figure out whether to order a 56 or a 59. I could actually test ride the 56 and 59 RDO at a shop a couple hours from me, but the geometry isn't the same, but maybe it's still worth doing.

I currently ride a 58 Jamis Exploit now, which fits me well, and it has very similar geometry to the RLT 59, according to the bike insight geometry compare tool. I'm 5'10.5" and have a 31" in seam. The Niner website suggests that if you're in between sizes to size down for a more maneuverable ride and size up for more stability.

Anyway, curious to know...if you are in between sizes for the RLT, which way did you go with it?

Thanks!!!

Looks like you are 56. 58-59 would be too big for your height.
