Maybe I read it wrong, said "$100.oo is for just the frameset", when we say that here it usually means "just the frameset".
Bikes are okay, I guess.

Yep, 1985 Team Fuji in Flamingo pink and black. That bike is a steal for $150.
I have a 1970's Fuji aluminum 12 speed. All
original except inner tube and handle bar wrap
which was put on a few years ago. Rides very
smooth. Most of decals are still intact. Asking
$150
Not 1970's and not aluminum.

I have a partner that I pick parts with. He got the frame, wheels and some other bits. We’ll see if it fits.

Bill Boston: Per CR he's now retired from frame building but was and is quite expert on bicycle fit and measurement. His shop was in Swedesboro, New Jersey, and then moved to Wilmington, Delaware, so not anywhere near PDX or the PacNorWest. The few examples online show very clean workmanship, I'm sure you got a huge bargain for $180!

yes...if it is your size...
This Pinarello was recently listed for $150. The first picture was the only one in the listing but I was able to get the others from him. Sad to see it with the low end Shimano but it's the frame still with picking up? Looks pretty rough but looks more dirty than rusty.
Campagnolo dropout is promising
Kinda funny seeing the unused derailleur braze-on; I'll have to ask about original components
Is it real and is it worth trying to bring back to its former glory? I asked if there was a tubing sticker but I don't see any on the frame.

I'd say that based on the Pinny BB, chromed frame beneath paint and the build details visible, it's definitely genuine, and with a quality tubeset; worth saving and refinishing in my book (not my size, though, and I already have a beautiful Mondia frame, refinished, to build up for my spouse).

Would the entire frame be chromed under the paint? Could i just strip the paint and clear coat the chrome? Not sure if that is sacrilege but I think it'd look pretty slick.

This is the "Are You Looking For..?" thread, right? Where we post finds which may be of interest to other members of this Forum?

Chrome plating is a reasonably expensive process, so people would not routinely chrome plate an entire frame, unless it didn't cost any more to do so. The chromed bottom bracket is probably an "artifact" of having chromed the chainstays and rear dropouts. Even if the frame were fully chromed, it's most likely that the chrome underlying paint did not have the same surface (substrate) preparation that the exposed chrome areas did. The smooth gleam of chrome plating is a result not of the plating itself, really (or only), and depends on polishing the substrate before plating. So it's likely that the areas under paint would not have the same finish.
