Marin pine mountain
Awesome Marin pine mountain bike. I just bought it and I am not sure how much it’s worth. The previous owner had it stored for a while. Any help would be great. Thanks

The dog is priceless! The bike seems to be in wonderful shape and is worthy of much love. Bikes of that sort are becoming popular again, partially to youtubers who are talking them up. They represent a lot of utility.
As far as value, it is all over the place. In some markets, the pricing mentioned in the post above is probably about right and in some it would be too high.

The dog is priceless! The bike seems to be in wonderful shape and is worthy of much love. Bikes of that sort are becoming popular again, partially to youtubers who are talking them up. They represent a lot of utility.

I'd say closer to $300-$400 cleaned up and ride able (SoCal market). The Araya RM-20 rims are nice and it is a good color.

Cool bike -- Katsup's 300-400$ estimate in certain markets is not bad -- These bikes are every bit as nice as the "boutique" brands of the time period from a rider perspective. Just didnt get the respect they were due IMO.
Tange Prestige kept weight down to 24'ish with proper tires and tubes and i have a Team Issue marin and prefer it to a Yeti Pro Fro i have in the stable also (From a riding standpoint - definitely not from a speculative value standpoint )
Put some proper tires on it - Panaracer still makes the Smoke and Dart tires in their classics lineup i think -- and swap the seat for a Turbo and your'e all set
