Colnago- unknown year or model
This bike is merely listed as a Colnago 8 speed, 52cm (not specified if measured C-C or C-T). It has no wheels so I guess it used to have an 8 speed cassette. Other details mentioned: Campagnolo parts, San Marco saddle, aero seat post, clipless pedals (appear to be Campagnolo), water bottle cage. The only photo posted with the listing is not great, and does not show much in the way of details. Chromed fork, head lugs, and drive side chain stay. I can make out a Columbus tubing decal (gold with blue border?). It has "clubs" engraved seat stays, a braze-on FD and internal TT cable routing which may give a clue as to year or model. I am not a Colnago expert thus my wish for others to provide an estimate as to its value (year and model if you know it) so that I can make a somewhat educated decision if it is worth purchasing. Note: I requested that the seller send to me, or post more photos (close up component shots) and frame details (pantographs, lugs, BB shell bottom, decals, etc.). No extra photos received or posted on its listing as of yet.

It seems like about $300+ worth of new parts were installed. If the frame is in good condition would it be worth $600? That's about what I have to spend on it.

What is the difference between a C90 (does that mean 1990?) and a Super? Just different parts, paint? Or did they have different tubing?

Supers transitioned from SL to Thron tubing with the C designator.
This started in '89 and went on until at least '97
The Columbus tag likely already says Thron Super.
The only bonus compared to what I think of as real Supers was the two chromed headtube lugs. Later models even got the Precisa fork.
Personally I never liked mine (C91), the paint was some of the flakiest I have ever seen, the ride felt sluggish and it was heavy. (2kg+ for a 53 iirc)

I never got a value from anyone, but I bought the bike for $550 (asking price $700); hope it is worth it. The guy was really nice and just wanted to be rid of it since it was just "taking up space" he says. Lots of new parts, everthing else in very good condition. Will post completion photos when I find a wheelset.

That large spacer in the headset makes me wonder if the fork was replaced. I’d definitely check for ripples behind the head lugs just in case.

I got hold of a complete Campagnolo Vento wheelset with 8 speed cassettte. Cost about $275 considering fuel and what not to get them. Now need some tires; can tubeless tores work on those clincher rims? Not a necessity; just wondering.

Thanks, I noticed that also. No signs of any frame damage. I slapped on a cheap set of wheels just to give it a spin before buying and the bike tracked without issues. It does look odd, I agree. I'll be taking that apart because I would like to know the headset model. I had also questioned about the new parts; had there been an accident requiring replacement, answer was no.
