Salvaging and old BMX frame

I came across this frame, a Reunion Distortion (never heard of it), and thought I might make it into something my nephew might like. It’s clunky and heavy, but my nephew is wild and destructive, so maybe it will suit him. What parts/wheels/brakes would be good to put on this turd?
