Boardwalk s1 help
I just picked up a dahon boardwalk s1 ans am looking to rebuild it and have a few questions.
1) the fork is wobbly even after adjusting the headset. I am thinking a new litepro headset should fix this.
2) i would like to lighten it up a bit with a crank and am looking for some options.
3) any other options or options for this singel speed criiser.
Thanks

Just take it to a Dahon dealer for an overhaul. The idea behind Boardwalk is of a sturdy, rugged bike. Equipping it with aftermarket parts of dubious quality will hardly impact weight but make it more likely to fail.

I can vouch for the quality of Litepro Hollowtech cranksets. I've been using one with a Litepro chainring for six years plus and it's still going strong. At $40 with the chainring, bolts and cap,it's really a no brainer. As for the Hollowtech Bottom Bracket, I still recommend Shimano.
Litepro Hollowtech crankset: still going strong after six years and three countries
User's tip: the bolts are light but made of Al alloy. Don't over tighten them or you will strip them.
