shimano 3 speed
Hi, I just bought a Schwinn with a 3 speed. It is a Shimano 3 speed but can't really determine which model. Only low speed and looks like some of the pawls are damaged. I thought maybe someone could help me determine which type of shimano this is. I don't think its too old and would guess mid 70s maybe and it has 36 spokes. The bike is a Schwinn Breeze, ladies, 26", appears to be very original. I was told all gears work but they do not. When I push on the pin, It only engages in one spot, almost in as far as it will go. I hope someone can help. I have pictures but cant post yet

From what I remember of Shimano's 3 speeds the were really not repairable like a SA is. At one time you could buy an internal parts kit but but I haven't seen one in years. Roger
