Anyone have issues with the Trek T47 Bearings?

I have had an issue with the Praxis BB but not with the bearings. My Domane SL5 has a dreaded bottom bracket click that can be eliminated by cleaning and regreasing the bb spindle. The bearings are still very smooth but they are marking up the bb spindle pretty badly. Something is moving, causing the creak. Bike has ~8000 miles on it and bb issues have been present from 1000 miles. A Chris King BB keeps things quiet but seems to bind in one spot and has worn out the bearing sleeves. Before I put new sleeves into the Chris King, I would like to get to the rood cause of the issue.
Facing and bb shell threading were questioned above. What should I look for if that is a problem? Would my local Trek store be able to diagnose an alignment problem?

I did tighten everything up and adjusted it properly. Even if the preload is set on the high side, it will start making noise within 150 miles.

Thank you for the help. It looks like a BBinfinite unit will be the next step if I want to solve the problem for good. Now the tough question...sell the bike or invest in the BB...

The Praxis works fine for me on my Domane but it probably has only seem a light drizzle once in its lifetime. It's my fair weather bike.
There have been a few threads on this very topic and me wanting to be prepared, I picked up a Hambini bottom bracket with his installation tool. It is a one piece design and it feels like jewelry in your hand.
The down side is the price, it is spendy. Second, not any fault of Hambini as it was shipped immediately, but it took almost a month to get to me in Toronto, Canada. Tracking the package showed me it sat more time in postal offices than actually traveling. I am sure the pandemic has played havoc with both countries postal services.
Mine will get installed in the spring after the snow melts. For now the Praxis will be fine for my bike that sits on a trainer.

Hambini Racing's T47i T47 Bottom Bracket for the Shimano Crankset (Trek) lists a 86.5, but the Domane shows a Praxis, T47 threaded, internal bearing spec'd to 85.5. What am I missing?

This bottom bracket is designed to interface a Shimano 24mm Hollowtech 2 Crankset with a bike frame that uses a T47 Bottom Bracket (86.5mm wide). This is often called threadfit or T47i and a variant of this is used on Trek bikes.
- T47 x 86.5 Threaded. 47×1.0mm
- Will work with TREK T47i bikes, these have an 85.5mm wide shell

I believe the T47 being threaded, will account for anything 85 and 86.5 for the internal Bearing versions.

Yep, looked at the Wheels MFG, but they were not in stock, so went with the BBInfinite. Went out today and got in 63 and really noticed a different in how easy the crank spun. I found myself in higher gears than I typically ride. I generally live in the 16,17,18 tooth with an occasional swing through 15 land using a 14-28 cog with a 50 tooth front. I like the 14-28 since I have no hills and I like having one tooth adjustments when the wind kicks up. I found my self in the 14-17 range a lot today, even though the wind out of the N and NE was pretty strong and in some spots, I did not have anywhere else to go, since my 14 tooth was all I had. Might need to switch back to a 11-28 or a 11-25 since I like a 16 tooth cog.
Since this just the first ride, I will have to get some more time in to see if this was just an anomaly, or do I order a new cassette an 11-25.

I went with the Ceramitec bearings. The price difference between the 2 was not bad, so I figured why not. It looks like they had a price increase since I bought mine. I want to say I got it for less than 235.

Yep, I was in more of a need at the moment, so I chose the BBInfinite over the Hambini just due to the time it was going to take to get here. I had the Biinfinite in 3 days. Can't go wrong with either one.
