Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I had to replace a GFCI in my tenant's office yesterday. Pulled the old one out, and there were three white wires and three black wires going into the old one, plus the green. I was blown away. Fortunately, 24 hours later, there have been no fires, smoking outlets, or lives lost.

Mrs datlas asked my dad for his miter saw and he gave it to her. I think it’s a pretty good one, maybe 105 level. Will try to get pics and post.

Yeah, I was thinking that it'd be most useful as a guide for template making, rather than as a direct template for workpieces. I'm still kicking around some ideas on small production pieces, and templating could be a huge piece of that, depending upon design.

The little lady got two tubes of "mineral" sunscreen, so until I can go out and get myself some stuff that doesn't work as well, but looks better, I'm going out like this:

The Habanero currently has a boat anchor rear wheel, it's actually the stock wheel that came with the Roubaix. I wanted to give it something better but it's too soon for the Reynolds Assaults.

I still have my Williams 38 carbon clincher rear wheel (the front got cracked by a rock although I still have it, that's what is poking into the saw picture), so I put that on along with newfangled Reynolds cryo-blue brake pads. It might be placebo effect, but a quick test ride around the block suggests it feels faster, and dry braking is fine.

Some people were expecting big news/reveal from Shimano today.

Didn’t happen. Yet.

Looks like someone used it as a junction box in addition to being a GFCI. Your approach is my exact approach to all electrical work as well.

Yup. A single bevel sliding miter saw. In house (or close to it) brand of Harbor Freight. We can call it microshift’s ultegra level. Perfectly fine for light/medium home use.

Not shimano, but leaked Garmin power pedals made the waves, “Rally” instead of “Vector”, with SPD, SPD-SL, and Look options. And Wahoo hacked a speedplay and Assioma to arrive at their powrlink zero pedals.

Woke up with a killer headache this morning and didn’t take any Tylenol, before or after the shot with fears of adverse effects, may take a nap instead. I was certain it’s a dehydration related headache, but still raging on.
My adverse effects lasted 24 hours. Mostly fatigue.

The little bit of stretching I did this afternoon actually improved the knee function. Both thighs were/are still quite tight. Whodathunkit?

Project done. Used Specialized S Wrap Roubaix in 40mm width. A little harder to wrap because it doesn't turn as tightly. Will likely go back to

30mm tape next time. Love the feel of the tape, and will see how it performs.

I had the same reaction to the first dose. Lasted all day.
May you be blessed with an easy second dose. Mine was quite the opposite. Good luck
