2015 27.5 Giant Reign with 170mm fork?
Hi all, I've got a 2015 27.5' Giant Reign 1 and I'm considering swapping out the Front fork for a 38mm 170mm Rockshox Zeb but I'm unsure whether the extra weight and travel would put any undue strain/leverage on the Frame/Head Tube?(aluminium) Any advice would be much appreciated.

What is the max travel that Giant says will work with that particular bike? 10mm is not a huge huge huge amount but Giant would be the ones to ask to be 100% sure. You would hope that Giant would build an enduro mountain bike to handle some stress and strain but it is an older bike and assuming you have been riding it, it might be time to look at something new if you want more travel and continue having fun on the current bike with the travel as is.
