What do you consider your greatest strength as a cyclist?

What size is your SL6? I'll hang onto it for you while you drop your weight. For me, it's mental toughness. I ride alone and run (yes, I am a runner) alone. I've learned to push myself and keep on going. If I don't, there ain't nobody else to kick me in the butt. Being a competitive runner has also helped. I know how to deal with the pain and legs that want to quit and to keep going until I'm done.

im 6'1" and about 220 pounds now after going on vacation (thanks Marriott resort). my normal weight is 190 but i am so mad at myself at letting myself get to 220, that i plan to keep a crazy strict diet from November 1 through the new year. i want to be 180-185 for next spring

lol, its eye candy in my garage for now. but just for the sake of convo, the sl6 is a 60cm and i am saddened to tell you that it has about ~4-5 miles on it ONLY. it is pristine/off the showroom floor.

That's the thing. My bike is serious, I am not. Instead of spending the $ on a trainer, I'm monitoring Craigslist for a set of carbon wheels to set off the look of the bike I also just ride in regular old cargo shorts. I'm the furthest from being a serious cyclist. I bought the bike to enjoy relaxed neighborhood rides.

I'm proud to say I can walk right by my bikes without guilt and with head held high for months without riding them.
Hmmph!

What I'll add, is that I have a very efficient pedal stroke (rollers ftw), which helps maximize whatever I do have. Also, I can do fairly long, and somewhat strong pulls when riding with a group.. maybe a product of doing a lot of solo riding. Also, at 60+ I still want to get stronger and faster, and regularly clock personal bests on Strava segments, and often during solo rides. I regularly ride with the strongest riders in my area, but will beg off of some rides when I know there will be a bunch of young skinny guys hammering (I'm not fat but I'm certainly not young.) I'm pretty good at bridging gaps when necessary in groups. I have some great friends and acquaintances that I ride with regularly, and they seem to like to have me around. Maybe that's my greatest "strength".

At 260 lbs, I provide a superb shelter for anyone riding behind me. My cycling nickname is "Miller"... aka GenuineDraft.
In tandem with that, I'm a natural on descents. First descent down a half mile hill frequented by 2,400 Strava riders placed me in Top 50. I'll be getting a good portion of my KOMs and T10s from downhills next season when I focus on more climbing. In theory, at least
