Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Unless there's a shortcut I'm not aware of, you have to go through an annoying three-step process to directly post the photos on websites.

Ugh. Thought I'd wrap up the day with a little quiet time wrapping my bars. Just as I popped in the first bar-end plug, the boy starts yelling "mom! Dad!" We run up to the bedroom, he's standing there, puke all over himself and his bed. Ugh.

I scratched today's ride due to possible icy conditions. Now I am trying to find a live feed for Paris-Nice that won't be full of malware.

He seems none the worse for wear this morning. I, on the other hand, am dragging ass and in need of quantities of espresso that should have WADA knocking down my door. While I was stripping his bed, he (and his puke pail) fell asleep in my bed. He looked comfy, so rather than move him or squeeze in, I slept (fitfully) in his bed instead.

Trying to decided on my ride this morning. Today and tomorrow will be ~15° at typical ride times, which means that I'd need to swing by the LBS for some shoe covers and maybe a thicker pair of gloves. Then again, the 10-day forecast looks like spring-ish conditions are around the corner for real this time. Do I spend $120 on two rides and then pack the stuff away 'til Nov or just slog it on the trainer for the weekend? Bah. Humbug.

So I'm hoping my frame will arrive next week, hopefully before the weekend. It's not entirely horrible since it's cold out, and I don't ride in cold or rain. It was shipped today, the day I told them I was calling bank to start the charge dispute.

As said in another thread, this experience buying was disappointing because yes, with another company, when they said it was in stock, it arrived in 3 days. This time I was told in stock, ready to ship, but given the run around for over a month. Honesty goes a long way in customer service, IMO. That was my biggest gripe.
