was only planning for 20 as I really did not want to ride in the rain. Then the rain decided to hold off and I ended up doing 37.

One crash when the saddle assembly assploded jumping off the curb. Whoops! Switched bikes, bandaged the left knee and managed 37 miles and 4500 feet of climb. Yeah!

45 miles. Pretty much flat except the Dumbarton Bridge crossing on the way back. Around the South Bay from East Palo Alto and back.

Either Out Doors or Over Dosed. I’m leaning toward the latter

Today, between rain showers, more than 19 and less than 20 miles with 850’ climb to keep me honest - kinda sorta. ODD

Bikelady was right. A serious cyclist never wears a sleeveless top.

We go from mid-80's to mid-50's. The weather has been interesting, hasn't it!

what a shame. Guess I will have to toss my Performance three pocket tank top reserved for really hot days.

Today I did an ‘unserious’ 32 miles with 2,200’ climbing in 1:45 mins. Guess I will need to step up my game.

Good for you. I rode slower than that. 43 miles, 5100 feet, just over 3 hours. Endurance/Tempo pace.

But the jersey I wore had sleeves with polka dots, and the words “Everest Challenge” on the chest. Serious jersey.

So no “club cut” option for Breathless Agony jerseys? Not much call for that size, I’ll bet. It’s been several years since I did that ride, but I remember the crowd sat comfortably on the slim side of “race cut”.

You averaged 14 mph over that course, impressive at your size!

My Breathless Agony pace was 16.3 mph, but I weigh 40% less.

40 miles and 5200 ft of climb in local hills. Kept the rubber side down this time.
