One crash when the saddle assembly assploded jumping off the curb. Whoops! Switched bikes, bandaged the left knee and managed 37 miles and 4500 feet of climb. Yeah!

Good for you. I rode slower than that. 43 miles, 5100 feet, just over 3 hours. Endurance/Tempo pace.
But the jersey I wore had sleeves with polka dots, and the words “Everest Challenge” on the chest. Serious jersey.

So no “club cut” option for Breathless Agony jerseys? Not much call for that size, I’ll bet. It’s been several years since I did that ride, but I remember the crowd sat comfortably on the slim side of “race cut”.
