2023 World Tour

So, anyone want to ride Canada to South America, then Europe? I'm looking at leaving around May 2023. Would.love some company. I'm 62, a smell the roses rider. Mostly camping with some motels, Warmshowers.

I hope you get away this time. Good luck. There just doesn't seem to be any guarantees anymore. Sad.
But what happened this past HOT summer? Did you take the smoky trip or not? That CGOAB post disappeared, and one of the 3 trips you had posted? At least we had a nice visit in Wetaskiwin.
Oh, didn't you mean 2022??

I did a world tour 1998-2000, it was my way of celebrating the arrival of the new millenium. New year's eve 1999 I was at the Taj Mahal...nice timing right?

I started as you did...Alaska/Canada/US/ yadda yadda to South America and onwards.

Company would be nice....but don't underestimate the incredible head trip traveling alone would be. Ironically, if you travel alone you meet far more people. Sure, it might be because you are "lonely," but a more positive reason is simply that strangers fine it easier to come over and speak to a solitary traveler than a pair, or worst of all, a gaggling bunch of strangers.

In any case, as I always end these types of letters: the best time to tour is NOW! I wish you all the luck.
