An introduction several years in the making
Hi all, I joined the forums eleven years ago when I was asking about tires for my Cannonade T800 touring bike, and kinda forgot to stay and hang around but for the fact I got a happy birthday email every year. This year I've resolved to try to be a more active participant as biking is so important to me and keep forgetting there's a rather good place to share. 
I've been biking since I was a kid, and have gone through a long list of bikes, mostly Cannondales, generally replaced when the previous bike was stolen. My current stable includes my still-going-strong Cannondale T800 touring bike that I used to ride from Buffalo to Chicago last summer, a Cannondale tandem my wife and I ride, a Niner Air, and a Dolan fixie.
The wife and I are planning on doing our first RAGBRAI this summer on the tandem; we got really lucky to find it at a good price and as soon as we started to ride it we realized how much we enjoyed the experience. Now let's see if we still do after riding across Iowa!
