Help with bike evaluation
The following bike popped up on the local marketplace, it's listed for 300 euros, can you give your opinion on the bike's worth, cos I can't manage to find anything about the shimano rs70 wheels + the frame does not have any labels on it. I see a lot of oval parts, so maybe a repainted fuji? 2x10 mix of older 105 and ultegra, do you know what groupset those brakes are from? kupujemprodajem. com/bicikli/ drumski-trkacki/drumas-m/oglas/147462321 You cant add photos before making 10 posts, kinda stupid

It looks kind of tired. It will probably need cables, bar tape etc. If you like the bike and it fits you, you can always offer less for it knowing you will have to repair/replace items.

Don't be afraid to offer half the asking price and walk away if they stand firm.
If you aren't a DIY'er and know everything about adjusting the DR's, changing cables and other things, then you could easily spend more money on the bike than it's worth. Maybe even more than it's original MSRP.
If you can't assess the bikes mechanical condition then look for a bike that is obviously well maintained and in good running order. A new cheap bike might be better than a used great bike with lots of mechanical needs.
If you aren't a DIY'er and know everything about adjusting the DR's, changing cables and other things, then you could easily spend more money on the bike than it's worth. Maybe even more than it's original MSRP.

That is not true. Fuji make/market some very fine bikes. My carbon framed, and Di2 equipped, Fuji SL is a fine bike.

The few new Fuji's I've seen do look decently made up close. So maybe a good bargain bike. But still, I wouldn't offer 300 anything for a bike in that apparent condition. Even if it is only cosmetic.

Fuji makes excellent bikes, and ordinary bikes, but no garbage bikes.
I liken them to a small Giant ... the name doesn't carry much cachet, but the bikes are ion par with the competition ... and generally offer very good value because the name carries less weight.
Any race weekend, I see some riders on Giants and Fujis .... all he big brands:Trek/Spec, Cannondale, and some smaller-makerm.achinery ,,,, but always a handful for Giants and Fuijis
I liken them to a small Giant ... the name doesn't carry much cachet, but the bikes are ion par with the competition ... and generally offer very good value because the name carries less weight.

Just the condition of the bar tape would put me off. That bike has seen a lot of use and the tape indicates to me that it wasn't well maintained
