Wet Lube or Dry Lube

What are the main differences? Which application is better for what?

I think the dry stuff is for dusty environments cuz it won't accumulate the road dust on the drive train (chain and gears)

Wet lube is oil and usualy will attract more grit to the chain.
If you are in a dry area, then dry lube, which is wax based can be used, and will stay cleaner then wet lube.
You need to apply dry lube when the chain is totally clean.
I live in Israel, and it is mostly dry, but I use finish line green wet lube. It works for me.
Oh, and I didn't try dry lube ;-)

Kfir

Thanks guys,
I am primarily doing road riding, with the "occasional" maybe off the road riding. The wet lube is already gunky within 75km of city grime.

P.S., I was in Israel a year ago!
