That is a post almost 3 years old and as I experienced is no where near what is happening in the marketplace. Asking Specialized to honor the warranty of a modification is ridiculous.

I did miss the date of the original post, but who is talking about warranties? Nobody with any common sense would expect to modify a bike and still have it covered under warranty. But then again, America today, common sense is an uncommon virtue.
