Help finding the correct place to post

I've recently joined and was curious as to whether their was somewhere more specific I could post in order to help me identify a Peugeot bike I acquired a month or so ago.
I don't think it's old enough to be considered classic or vintage hence why I haven't posted it in the classic /vintage appraisal & valuation section.

Any help would be much appreciated.

If you don't think it's from the days when a Peugeot was the real Peugeot bike under the control of Clyde Peugeot then probably anywhere you feel you belong. Though even the C&V probably won't gripe if the bike is circa 1990 or earlier.

There is a somewhat new forum Early Brifter Bikes - 7,8, and 9 Speed

But I don't know how busy it is with people going there. I don't think I've ever even looked inside. Certainly here in this forum or the Road Cycling forum wouldn't be frowned upon by any majority.

And if you have a question that is about mechanicals of any nature then the Bicycle Mechanics is the place to go.

Welcome to BF!

Post it in the Classic & Vintage subforum. Plenty of folks there who know all the details of Peugeot bicycles. Also see if you can find the bicycle's serial number and any other identifying marks or model labeling (P08, P10 or similar), that will help is getting specific details about your bicycle.

Post pictures over on C&V as said, drive side for sure, once you have a post count of 10 or if less ask someone to help post for you.

Another place to dig around is here. Although Peugeot had numerous models/brochures for the various markets it served worldwide

I'd just put it in the C&V forum. Those guys know everything and nobody will be offended if it happens to be less than vintage. And that benchmark is very fluid.
