Wow, I did not see that clip. The "free press" actually blurred out the back of the shirt to censor it out, amazing. Thanks for digging that up. I can't believe they did not censor the "Free Palestine" on the front too, odd.
My rear freewheel is a 16.17.18.19.21. I spaced the rear wheel as far as it would go towards the drive-side dropout and re-dished the rear wheel to suit, so the gears I use the most, the 19/52 and 18/52 work just fine, and if I am going downhill the ninth and tenth gears work fine too. The only time i use the 21 rear cog is if I am on the small sprocket up front when spinning up steep grades. Ten-speed bikes don't have the ridiculously wide rear cog-set and cross-chaining as the garbage-bikes they sell people now have, so it is no big deal to use three or four different gears with one front chainwheel, especially when you do the work I did to put the rear hub where you want it.

Now I only ride garbage bikes with wide ratio 10 speed out back. Except my garbage mtb, which has a wide 11 speed.
My next garbage bike will probably have a 12 speed wide range cassette.

At 100 pedal rpm 52/16 is just under 26mph, at 90 pedal rpm it drops to about 23mph. For riding and racing on mostly flat or shallow grades that is more than enough gearing for me as I am not young or strong enough to cruise at 30-40mph average like you are. I am sure the 52/19, which I like to do most of my riding in, is good for 18mph to over 21mph on routes without large grades at between 88-100 or so pedal rpm, which I know for sure because I have tested it many, many times and done the math.

That would be off-topic to discuss and against forum rules, as this forum has already censored many of my posts concerning such things even though I can directly tie them to bicycling, so you will have to enlighten me through a PM if you want me to understand what you are talking about, thank-you.

the video is a bit out of focus (depth of field and all)/grainy, but it does look like there is something scribbled on the back of the shirt in thin (black) marker/ink.
perhaps the op can ask his wife to take a pic of him in the shirt, and he can post it here? bonus points for having a dumpster in view.this sounds like the dumpster vodka talking.

It’s not political but rather a lesson on 1st Amendment jurisprudence. And don’t feel bad. A lot of people don’t know how the amendment works.

It's really just basic civics knowledge. A private company, even "the press", is not required to carry your message. Just like the first amendment doesn't mean I can go around trolling BF and sue in federal court if my post are deleted or I'm banned.
Don't feel bad though; certain factions are deliberately trying to confuse you about what it does mean.
Ok feel a little bad.

i am waiting with bated breath! by the time of this post, you should have had two easy, triumphant finishes, replete with glorious drunken (real or feigned) finish line rampages.
i am also curious as to whether you are paying for registrations for these events, or just jumping on at some point in the route (you know, sticking it to -the man- and his money-machine!).

I rode through Erie crossing the country back in ‘99. In 2017 I started a cross-PA tour from the airport there after dropping off my rental car.
Sorry. Just trying to add reality to this thread.

Getting the Huffy ready for the "Sunrise Ride" this morning at 5:30AM. Since it was only 12 hours since I had to ride my last stage, I figured I needed extra starch to be in winning form, so tried to take some potato product with me, unfortunately my knees hit the container and demanded I splay them out into the wind-stream. Any real cyclist knows "Aero comes first.":, so I had to just take a few hits and leave the container home. More about this and other stages later after I recover a bit from the grueling schedule.;
