How long after bilateral inguinal hernia repair?

How long after hernia surgery before you felt like going on a good long ride? I've been out 11 days and still feel very sore and weak. I can tell I feel a little better every day, but I'm surprised how little activity it takes to sit me down. Everything seems good though and I'm going in for checkup tomorrow. They hadn't definitively diagnosed my issue before surgery, and I had a look around with camera done. Possibly that's why I feel like I was used as a trampoline at some point while I was under.
