Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? Wow!!!!

The thread discussing what can/can't be said got deleted... that is insane. I hope we get a clear explanation as to why.

by far the most draconian forum rules/moderation-wise i have ever been a part of.

dont they ever think silencing people for trivial things will scare off contributing members of this online community?

I didn't read every word of the deleted thread, but I don't think anyone was being personally attacked... am I wrong?

You should have been around in '04-'05.
You would have loved this forum then.
And we would have loved you.
But not in a sexy way, just as a friend in the community.
I don't want another demerit writing for that.
Sigh, I need a forum lawyer.

Enjoy

wow is right! why delete and not just lock it. that is totally pathetic. i'm not attacking anybody its just sad that users of this forum are prohibited from expressing opinions. i appreicate this forum for the information , the opinions, & the entertainment it provides. I dont always agree with other users opinions but I would never take it upon myself to sensor or remove posts/treads that went against my viewpoint. seems like some moderators need to get moderated.

Discussion here. I'm trying to keep it in a single thread so I can start addressing things withour chasing all over the forum.
