Brake Lever Insert Replacement
My old Crossroads Elite has what appear to be silicone or some type of rubber cushion inserts on the back side that have become gummy. Anyone have this issue that can offer the best plan of action? These inserts are removable, so they must be replaceable. Where can replacement inserts be found? Or, is there some cleaner that can remove the gummy / stickiness?
Thanks,
RR

If you're talking about the rubber inserts on the finger side of the lever, for comfort, it'll probably be very difficult to find the actual insert itself, especially if it's not clear who made the brake levers. These cushioned ones are usually Tektro, but there may be others out there as well. Check out the Tektro CL530 as a potential replacement.
