Lucky? I scrimped and saved coins I found in the couch cushions!! I was saving up for a road bike since 2005. I was supposed to get a Torelli with full Campy but got this better frame with Ultegra/105 instead. I figured I can upgrade as things wear out or break.

I have pedals.......I'm just using "training" pedals for now.
One step at a time, one step at a time. Don't forget. These are clipless on the other side....I still have to buy shoes.

Hey ViperZ - I haven't been around very much of late, too much real like to deal with these days. Anyway, I pop my head in and see a very familiar thread only to see your Tuscany with its amazing new wheels. Congratulations!! BTW, is it snowing there yet?

Hey look Mr. Double Decker Mountain Ti Boy....
Transistions take time okay?? I just finally sorta admitted that this is a road bike. I still have the mtb saddle, the mtb pedals, the mtb shorts and jersey and the visor on my helmet. I'm workin' on it, I'm workin' on it....
Now JON on the other hand, is still poppin' wheelies and making jumps on his CARBON () OCR C3.

Slicks on the hard tail would make it a pretty formidable weapon
I took my Rocky Wedge on a club road ride once. With the Tom Slick 1.5's I was able to keep up with the Roadies for a 50km fast ride.
However a pure road bike is a pleasure to ride for sure!

I had the knobbies on mine. I just happened upon a group of roadies and stayed behind them. As they went faster, I felt for some reason I wanted to be roadie for a day. I must say, it was hard work but I stayed right there with them! It was cool!
To be honest, I really think that was the day that I decided - there HAS to be a way that I can ride road. Has to be.

I'd post mine but I need to take new pictures of the current set up... kind of like not wanting to post a photo of yourself with a dated haircut.
Question for Litespeed owners (of which I am one) Why do you leave those boring and ugly Litespeed decals on???
So much nicer with just the headtube badge.

I can't answer for all Litespeed owners, but for me I like the decals. They give the bike it's character, otherwise it's just another nondescript generic bike. Personally I find bikes with out decals more boring as they remind me of a stolen bike. Decals are usually the first thing to go when a bike is stolen
But that's just my opinion

I have considered many things before, however until the decals fall off (which maybe soon ), I like them. I think my bike is pretty personalized already, and it looks like My bike. I love the Blue with yellow Tuscany on the top tube. The Yellow Litespeed on the down tube is a Litespeed signature. Sure white decal are my favorite on Ti, but these decals identify the year of the bike to me. The Ti decal on the Seat tube I love the most. It's nothing special, but there is just something I like about it. I understand subtleties like these may not matter to you, but to me they are important.
Like I said, this is just my opinion, so feel free to post pictures of your decal-less bike to convert me
