Wabash Nature Trail

If you’re ever in Omaha or Council Bluffs I think you’d enjoy. I only rode 20+ of the 60+ Due to logistics and timing but it’s a nice way to enjoy a ride.

Trailhead in Council Bluffs

Needs any bike parts???

Typical trail picture

Nice tunnel

Margaritaville on the trail!!!

Great little town!

Typical Iowa but love these terraces

Bike shop on the trail in Silver City

Love the name. Patented?

Tubeless or tubes???

I'm glad you enjoyed it. I tried putting together a small group ride on the Wabash trail with BF folks out of Omaha, Des Moines, and Kansas City a few years back but it fell through. I'll have to try again.

I've ridden it once, 2 years ago when there was terrible flooding. Wasn't bad even then. It was on the route as a part of a coast to coast race, so I didn't have time to see the sights. Except for the Bobcat! I would like to ride it when I have some time to enjoy it. Thanks for the pics!

I had a chance to ride it with billydon. This was about 5 or 6 years ago.

Thats great! Super fella. I spent a good bit of time with him at the 50+ ride in Glenwood CO. I think he might of borrowed my idea of using a MTB RD to get some easier gearing on a compact crank, but I could be mistaken.

A 50+ icon gone too soon.

Do you have a link to any info on this? The other trail I've been meaning to explore is the Cowboy trail.
