Addiction 2021.2

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

We used to have the "June Gloom" with lots of overcast days. Seems to be a thing of the past.

Ope, that game Blue Jays was in Buffalo. I guess they're playing there 'til July 21.

Buffalo Blue Jays has a nice ring to it.

Super bummed. Due to weather and other **** didn’t get home til 130 am this morning. Was really looking forward to my ride and was honestly going to wake up at 4 am and htfu. Wife convinced to get more rest and she would wave the 830am return time. Woke up at 7 am and went for a ride. Was planning on 80 miles but I felt super off. Immediately my heart rate felt way higher than it should have been for the effort I was putting out. I was climbing this little hill and my heart rate hit 175, I stopped at a stop light shortly after and it never slowed down. Wife is on her way now.

This trip really jacked me up. It was all late night flying with the first two nights I was up til after 3 am.

It's a working holiday for Velo Vol. Hitting the lawn early in hopes of beating the rain.
