the hed 3's were making me paranoid. i hit a few bad potholes and decided i needed to sell them before i destroyed them. not a good choice for an everyday bike. plus i made a $400 profit in the trade.
new wheels are great. the rims act like a sort of speaker though, sounds completely different than the heds. these wheels are lighter and noticeably stiffer especially when i'm out of the saddle.

Looks good, I remember an old thread where someone was going to make one of those caps that said "Scrod's behind you...and he's naked." I might actually get that made.

Finally got to put my bike together this morning. It's in a raw, incomplete stage, but nearly done.

My Bianchi that I converted a few years ago. I bought the bike on ebay and rode it stock for a while and then converted to SS. I just swapped out the bars and haven't wrapped them yet.

My steamroller. been building it for a few years, rides like butter thanks to a phil wood front hub. not the lightest of fixed gears but i can take it on trails and be just fine. absolutely love it and will be riding Surlys forever.

My commuter. It used to be much gaudier but I've upgraded pretty much everything except the frame and seatpost.
