^^^ Nice bikes - I'm trying to corner the market in the 27" 80's burgundy entry-level niche

My Moser makes the 64 cm cut
as does my late 25-1/2" Raleigh (one reason tall people still tour on these)
There's a nice big 67 cm Homer right now at Rivendell with brazed center-pull brakes

Two years ago Rivendell was reluctant to build me a single top tube AHH, when I saw this on their website about 6 months ago I was a little peeved. When I saw the price I was glad I went in another direction. It is a beautiful bike.

I'm surprised that bike wasn't finished out as a Rivendell custom - if you went out to have it made anywhere, the price would not be out of line.

That's what I was thinking, someone ordered it and backed out.

Not mine. I apologize for the bad quality of the pic, but it's a photocopy of a photo taken by the guys at the shop I used to work at of a Serotta titanium custom tourer ordered by a known flake in the local cycling community. He's my height and I ride 62-64cm bikes. This is a 69cm, just out of the box before the new owner got his hands on it.

Excellent, probably no better place than them!
Yes, I sent the frame/fork to Bilenky of Philadelphia. He says he can replace the down tube for $200; painting and shipping back is extra. For a uncommon, big frame like my Panasonic, that's OK with me.

Ouch! Sorry it didn't work out, I assume you tried to negotiate some kind of resolution. It always amazes me when outfits do this sort of thing, how do they think it's going to work out? You go to them based on their reputation and then they shoot themselves in the foot, Boneheads, sheesh!

Below is a photo of my 76 Masi GC size 66 in the Masi system, 64 in most others. I am the original owner. This is a California Masi and they were and are dreams to ride in large sizes.

I posted this in the Show us you Raleigh Super Course thread but I will throw it in here, too. My 25.5" 1979 Super Course. I love the way it fits but I have not decided on the Mustache Bars. I am leaning toward drops.

For a brief moment in time, my 1988 Trek 560 (65cm) looked like this with its full 7400 Dura Ace groupset.

Seems all of my bikes get a makeover every few years, for no other reason than just because.

I tend to change setups on bikes often enough, sometimes just because, other times to try and get "the right group" for the bike. Or the right look.

My 64cm c-c Bosomworth. Built in 1984 by a custom frame-builder in Rotorua, NZ. Not built for me but it might as well have been as it fits really well. I love it with the SRAM Force group, it'd be nice to have some better wheels but these old Formulas are fine for now.

Nice updating @Jimbo1983, and the Bosomworth has just the right amount of patina to make it interesting.
While we are doing updated customs. I finished adding monernish parts to the 64cm Holland frame I picked up over the winter. Easily the lightest bike I own.
