First advice is to STFU and go find an injury attorney that specializes in bike law before you fry your claim.
I work in a Personal Injury Office. Stop talking.
On a friendlier note. In the state of Oregon you can use your car insurance coverage for Personal Injury Protection and Underinsured/Uninsured Motorist coverage. In other words you can put a claim in on yourself. Check with your agent and see if this is possible.

Interesting; I know PIP works like that here, any idea if U/UMC works the same in Texas? I always carry it at ridiculous levels since it's so cheap anyway. (And I've known too many hit and run victims.) If it would help on the bike I might even jack it up more.
