OK, I get drilling for weight savings, but I also see that as an area where dirt and or moisture can accumulate.

You can use drain holes, but you can also use a BB sleeve to prevent too much crud getting into the bearings

Odd that with all the custom tooling to make this shell that Pina would opt for that "strap" for cable retention, always seemed like a crude solution to me: makes sense when you are "blacksmithing" and want a quick easy bit to fabricate and braze on, but this IC shell is at the other end of the spectrum!

Who made the investment-cast shell for Pinarello? I'm blanking on the logo in the topside...

Duh...and looks like the seat lug above is also IC and has that logo (?) so the casters did a bunch of custom components for Pinarello, it appears.
