I asked PDW and got a response:
Hey Cameron. There is essentially no padding. There's one spot with two layers of leather, and that's as padded as they get. When we were trying these out I thought we settled on lite padding. I guess I was mistaken! I guess I'm fine with this however. My favorite cool weather gloves have no padding and I've never missed it. Yesterday I got an email from someone telling us these gloves were all wrong because there's no padding. There's no pleasing everyone, so don't bother trying.

I like my cheapo Planet Bike gloves. I got tired of dealing with the hook & loop, so I used a seam ripper to take it off. Shockingly they still fit fine. Padding is thin and even, very comfortable.

I like the gloves that @Korina likes. They're inexpensive and comfortable. Funny how some of us like crocheted backs better than the new styles. One reason for me is that my hands seem to sweat a lot, and if I don't hang up my gloves right after riding, they get awfully stinky. The crocheted back is better than the synthetic fabric common on most bike gloves.

Since I last posted, another 5 emails... rate your customer experience agent experience, don't forget, time to buy more, like us on instagram... post an image of what you purchased in use... Look at what else we have, here are some suggestions...
Really weird. product has not even arrived. Must be the algorithm. Silly coders.

These padded gloves are $14+tax. Bought two pair. After a year, the first pair still looks/feels great. (ymmv.) And no logos!
