Someone's been listing a lot of premium price Peugeots near Port Orchard - this PX-60 isn't cheap but I don't exactly see PX-60s a lot...

Disraeli Gears
Seen on the BoBishBikesForSale mailing list: Jack Taylor Tourist (fillet-brazed) in Van Nuys CA, 60 cm with Taylor F & R racks, well-used but essentially original $1050:
Seller's blurb:
"For sale: Jack Taylor Tourist touring bike. Serial # 7821 - Built by Norman Taylor in 1981. Frame measures close to 24”c-t seat tube and 23”c-c top tube. Frame and fork are in great shape with no dings, no dents, no cracks, etc. Paint is rough and there is surface rust but still has some vintage patina charm left with the blue panels and red box lining. Everything is there down to the Taylor built front and rear racks, original Lefol fenders, original brass mounting bolts and original lights. Campagnolo headset, shifters, front derailleur and Phil Wood hubs. Needs some new cables and a basic tune up. A new chain and newish tires have been installed. Asking $1050 or best offer."
Looks like it has Phil Wood hubs (1st or 2nd gen.), Campagnolo FD, Suntour Blue Line RD, LeFol fenders. Very enticing!

1991 Miyata SportCross (less expensive version of the TripleCross) in Houston for $50. Looks like a 54cm. The ad doesn't mention anything about Miyata or the model name FWIW.

^^^ Or someone bought it at $75, peeled off a hideously bad layer of handlebar tape to reveal an equally bad lower layer, and is "flipping" it for $150.
Because, you know, nice bikes with established brands like "Auctro Daimler", and with "composite" frames, are at a premium these days.
You could always REXT him to find out......
