Slow down
somebody gets an A+ for planting this in the divider of a fairly busy street in a residential area.

Slow down? By the wounds on that curb it looks like they need to watch where they are going as well.

increase the height of that curb x4 while leaving the sidewalk at ground level. Watch those crash bars crumple!

I feel like if the drivers can't respond to the bright colors of the road markings maybe that little American flag kids toy might not be a bad attempt to slow down drivers. Honestly, though I think the only thing that works is speed bumps.

I'd rather try out rewarding the speeders with a four figure fine & a few points. Separate an offending person from there money & privileges of driving.

Unfortunately, this memorial or marker will only remind bad drivers to blame any parent for letting their kids ride on roads where they drive.

I remember when I lived in the area in the 1990s, there was a newspaper story about someone in San Jose who had a 20 year old snowball in their freezer from the one time that anyone could remember that it had snowed there..

I do remember living in Palo Alto one year that we had snow and it was probably in the 70's. It was super thin and didn't last but yes, I remember that one time when I was a kid in Palo Alto and got to build a super tiny, very dirty, snowman.
