Gunnar Sport — your STEEL road/gravel bikes — got pics?
My current favorite ride. Gunnar Sport frame made in Waterford, Wisconsin … built with mechanical Ultegra, some solid HED Ardennes wheels and Gravelking 32 tires….handles moderate gravel like a champ though I ride it mostly on choppy paved roads. The slacker head tube angle adds comfort. It’s a lot of fun and honestly smoother and ‘snappier’ riding than I’ve experienced on aluminum and carbon frames … I was skeptical of those swearing by steel until I rode this bike and experienced that smooth yet ‘elastic-y’ goodness for myself…. not too heavy at 9.3kg all-in … could get lighter with some swaps here and there to some carbon bits….
Anyone else want to share a pic or two of their favorite steel roadies/gravel munchers? Please do!

Beautiful Gunnar Sport, I like that blue.
I ride my Gunnar Sport with 32c's mostly on the road, but it has been used on the gravel trail when my bike with 38c's is laid up. I consider it more as my fast road bike only because it makes me faster than any of my other bikes, not that I would be considered fast. Defiantly love the ride of steel bikes for the road and gravel. If I had to go down to one bike it would probably be the Gunnar.

My Hyper-X, somewhere in Ohio. Since there was little actual racing during Covid, someone set up some Strava-based virtual gravel races (basically time trials), so I got my wife to drive me to the start. After riding my guts out for 33 miles on the route, I took a little break and then rode the 45 miles back home. I was pretty wrecked by the end.

It’s the blue from their available “current colors” … available through this year it appears from their site:

I built this one for some mixed trails nearby. It's a Moto cx853 frame, with a mix of parts. Have not had weather to try it yet.

daverup looks sweet!….I dig the green…is that a 54T up front?…combined with the big spread in the rear it might be the largest front/rear combo I’ve seen…..

More road than gravel, but it is steel and it is a sweet ride.
Steel and a sweet ride, this one will never go anywhere near gravel.
