A pair of OE Dawes handlebar end plugs, all the way from merry old England, courtesy of a Facebook Dawes Group member, Bill Clewes, who had pulled them from a 50 year old Dawes he had bought for parts. Now I can finish wrapping the bars on my Galaxy. I might stick a lightbulb in the hole provided, not that I have a headlight on it.

Not on mail box or vintage.
Picked these from a great deal form Craigslist and used today for my commute. One side only, it is huge compared with the small Rockbros front panniers I have.
It seems I will be using the older panniers on good weather days to carry my laptop, so I have both side panniers and bike will be more balanced.

More new jerseys. This time new ones, from a supplier in Serbia. It took a while for them to get here, but other than that I am very happy with them.
A replica of one of the most iconic designs ever, the 1960's Wiel's Groene Leeuw team jersey. A recent acquisition finally provided the excuse for me to get me one of these.
The other is a Legnano-Pirelli pullover. Intended for general use. For those Fridays when I need to be The Cool Old Man in the office.

With inflation, I figured it's never going to be a better time to buy Nitto. Bikewagon's ebay shop must have gotten in a shipment as they had both the stem length and handlebar width I like. Of course I spent more on these two pieces than I did on either of the bikes I plan to install them on.

I built my 753 Merckx up 2 years ago......
....but its never been quite finished. I've regularly searched eBay for the missing piece of the jigsaw since, and nothing ever comes up in the UK, so earlier this week when I saw one for sale in Belgium, I jumped at the chance, and it arrived today.....at last, a single silver bottle cage with the Merckx logo to match the one I already have on the bike.
Finished!
It took me a similar amount of time to find some black ones for my Domo Farm Frites Merckx ......
But the mission is far from finished, as the search continues for 2 more of the same silver Merckx branded bottle cages for my Team Panasonic......
...and then 2 more of the same for my Ti Merckx.....
......so at the current rate of progress, this saga could go on and on for years and years

A few things came while I was in Vermont, and I dragged a bike home (my son's) to do a little work on it for him wider tires, lower gears):

Got some new parts for a drivetrain upgrade for the SilverAce.
Based around a Shimano FC6603 Ultegra Triple for a stiffer bottom bracket and higher top end. Should be a good gear range for me with a 42T in front and 20T in the back. Just waiting for the bashguard to arrive.

I bought into the Soma Fab sale and my package arrived today. It must help that I live relatively close to the distribution center.
A pair of Soma Vitesse tires, two IRD chains, and a Kasai FS dynamo hub.
The dynamo hub is disappointingly rough, but this is only the second one I've worked with, the first being a well-worn Shimano dynamo. Are dynamo hubs supposed to be hard to turn?
