Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Go for it! Love riding in your part of the country. Should be a great day for an Everest-ing attempt.

Yes. The overwhelming number of people wore masks. We had a police escort for the open road portion. The rest was on a four lane road that has been closed to cars since restrictions took effect. Plenty of room to spread out.
So he must've been riding when he was hit. Sad!

On my ride yesterday I saw a guy on what looked to be a Look KG171.

With a bright red Aerospoke-type wheel on the front and a black one on the back

IN riding!

The Hammer is quieter and smoother than it ever was before, even brand new. Power still felt spot-on. Only weirdness was that the watch wasn't finding the sensors, so I had to manually upload the Rouvy file and then manually remove the fake miles recorded.

Still super happy to have the trainer back. And the Velofix guy is outside right now setting up the R2 with the R7000. I’m going to be set up beautifully.

Turned on my Wahoo at the start of the ride and it greeted me with a low battery warning and 1% charge. I know that I charged the thing on Monday morning and I've only taken two 1-hour rides since - it should have had enough juice for a century and more. Had to fall back on my Fitbit tracking (I don't think that the Strava app pairs with HRMs any more, and I at least wanted that data) and fly blind, like some kind of plebe.

To US citizens, yes. I get social security, and my wife has a pers pension. Most of our banking is still there too.

The horror!

I actually had a similar thing happen yesterday. I've got a dumb computer I use primarily for heart rate but had switched stems and handlebars and never moved the computer mount over to the new cockpit. Brought my heart rate strap but didn't even think about the computer, so even if the mount was there I probably would have forgotten the computer anyways

I don’t think it’s possible to ride a bike without a constellation of sensors.

Riding without real time heart rate data is one thing, not recording a ride and missing out on potential internet kudos is a whole different story.
