Go with what feels good for you, but hopefully you can find an alternate physical activity (swimming?)
and just throwing this out: maybe consider an pedal assist trike https://www.catrike.com/ecats or smallish trike? https://www.catrike.com/pocket

I am sure there is more to this story and I for one would really like to hear it, but I am sure it may be a private matter so we will belay it for another time. Just a few years from 70, I too am getting that feeling. Never having had a large stable but enjoying tinkering around with old vintage bikes has been wonderful. I am sure you have those special one of a kind tools with memories interwoven that only you could explain. Down sizing to a Senior Living Community can be traumatic for some and I wish you the fortitude it will take to do it. What ever the case it is all to make your life simpler and that is important for you and your family...

...Those Falcon San Remo's are nice riding bikes. But I guess you know that already. Nice paint on that one.

Oooh, I'm downsizing, too, so I'm not asking for me, but what size is your Witcomb USA? I'd think that might generate some interest amongst those who still have room for just one more...

Trek
Questions? Comments? Pricing Advice?
Trek 660 25" True Temper Double-butted Team Issue Double-butted tubing, True Temper forks and stays.
Campagnolo Daytona 175mm Cranks w/ Triplizer adapter, NR front derailleur, NR LF hubs
SunTour Vx rear derailleur, ProCompe 13-24 6-speed freewheel
Mavic Open 4 CP rims, Continental Grand Prix 4000s tires, 700c x25
Tektro black dual pivot brakes, Modolo Speedy Levers
CTA bars, black alloy stem, Alloy post, Lemond saddle
Sachs Huret DT RetroFriction shifters, Spenco grips, Velo-Orange sealed bottom bracket
Notes: fastback seat stay, inside chain stay cable routing. I bought this as a frame. My research seems to show that this was the last lugged steel road bike that Trek made. The True Temper tubing was rare as well.
The shifters seem to be similar to the Simplex retrofriction. Maybe licensed from Simplex? Extremely rare and pricey.

There are a couple guys on here who would care for them as well as you have. How would you choose? Maybe a face time or zoom meeting and they can show their bikes to demonstrate their worthiness? 🤔

But I came into this world with unusually long arms. Which makes for fun trying to get comfy in cockpits. Instead of 64-65cm bikes I’m having to do double-than in stem lengths, minimum. 130-150 stem is often the only way I’m comfortable.

I would love another Romic. Even looks the right size. I’m on the wrong coast.

I'm a long time user, but its been a few years since I posted. I have reached a crossroads in life and have decided its time to sell or donate all my nearly 50 years of bikes and accessories.
I'm 70, my knees and back are shot and I really don't trust my balance and vision on the road. We down sized 2 years ago and I sold all but 5 of my bikes. We are looking at another move
to a Senior Living Community and we will have drastically reduced storage. My kids don't want or need my bikes ( I built up and gave them all bikes over the years).
Money is not the issue. These bikes gave me pleasure and fun over the years...they owe me nothing. but I can't quite bring myself to dump them at Goodwill. I really would like them
to go to people who would appreciate vintage rides. So I'm looking for suggestions as to how to begin the process. Sell bikes here or CL or eBay... I've done all 3 before. Or try to find a local shop
to sell on commission? What would you do in my shoes?
And please, this is not a "woe is me" pity post. In many ways, moving on from all this stuff is liberating.
TIA for your ideas

For those following at home, the Falcon and Shogun are spoken for. Going to a good home. Thanks Andy
I'll probably wait a few days and then move the others to the for sale section.
Thanks for all the advice and support. Good people here..but we all already knew that
Now if there was just someone who wanted a complete all-grain home brewing system........
Edit: The Trek has also found a new home. Thank you Adam.
