Davidson Discovery Touring Bicycle - $525 SOLD

Own a piece of Pacific Northwest heritage with this 1985 Davidson Discovery touring bike. The handbuilt lugged frame was built by Bill Davidson's shop in Seattle and is double butted Tange tubing. The seat tube is 51 cm, top tube is 55 cm, and standover height is 79 cm.

The groupset is Shimano 600 – condition and appearance are excellent. The chainrings are 48/42/28 teeth and the freewheel is six speeds. Cinelli stem, Cinelli handlebars, and Avocet seat complete the cockpit. The rims are Super Champion.

The bike has been lovingly cleaned and refurbished. New parts include chain, cables and outer housing, handlebar tape, and brake hoods.

The paint is very good at six feet away. Up close, the frame and fork show some scuffs. I've included photographs that highlight the most pronounced paint blemishes. No dents or rust.

Located in Hood River, Oregon. Will ship at cost.

Nice! This may do much better in the Classic & Vintage sales section. More traction there.
