Raleigh model 600 comp aero

Hi
just picked up a barely used / like new 2000 Raleigh model 600 comp aero road bike with all Shimano 105 components
brakes, hubs, rear and front derailleur….. trip wired Schwinn computer, and new Serfas tires. He gave me a set of Shimano Pd-m545 clipless in the box new, front and rear bags from REI, frame pump a new pair of SIDI shoes …. My size. The original book with receipt of $999.00 in 2000
paid $240 for it all.
Does anyone have experience with this ride?

One of my kids rides a 500 from then. It's the same frame, just Tiagra instead of 105.
Why do you ask?

The frame is stiff, but light for the time. The fork is just contract built steel. Geometry is in line with the time- pretty aggressive and limited tire clearance.
As for feedback on your specific bike, it totally depends on the cosmetic and mechanical condition of the components.

I had an R700 from that era. Really stiff ride but also quick. I recall it being fairly light.
