Difference 1830 vs 8603 bearings?

Is there a difference between 1830 and 6803 bearings?

I searched the part number for my hub and both bearings came up.

An 8603 measures 17x47x18mm. An 1830 measures 18x30x7 mm. A 6803 measures 17x26x5mm. They don't look interchangeable. Measure the bearing that came out of your hub.

Rear hub bearings can be asymmetrical (drive side vs non drive side), hence the two different specs.

But I'd think the center diameter would be the same or the axle would need to be stepped.
