American Classic....
As a novice cyclist. I am still not too sure about what is good, bad or crap!
I know that google is a good source of info, but not the be all and end all.
I have picked up a set of American Classic Sprint 350 wheels, front and rear with a Shimano 10spd cassette, for the princely sum of £40 sterling. About $55.
They are in good condition....perfect actually. No tires.
Is this a good buy?

Should have asked this question before the purchase....

I bought a set of used American Classic 420 Aero 3 recently. I had some second thoughts about the availability of service parts like spokes but I don't see any issue with that for the next couple of years.
Did you really ask us whether that was a good buy or did you want to brag about your very very nice bargain

$55 for those wheels in good shape is a smoking deal.

Cheers
I didn't have time to ask on here as I thought the wheels would be snapped up pretty quickly - which they were, by me!
So, I thought I would take a gamble on them, and at £40, it was never going to be much of a gamble.

Who did you buy them from? I'm thinking there is a pretty nice bike somewhere near you with no wheels and it's frame locked to a bike rack.
